ALBANY, N.Y., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US has named Christina Dutch managing partner of the firm's Albany office. Dutch, who brings 14 years of experience to her new role, will lead PwC's strategy and operations in the Albany area. She succeeds Richard Grant, who is retiring after 34 years with the Firm.

Dutch, a native of upstate New York, has served public and non-public clients in a broad range of industries, including general manufacturing, chemicals, power generation and renewable energy, life sciences, and higher education.
Dutch also served in PwC's National Professional Services group in Accounting Consulting Services, providing assistance to clients in areas such as business combinations, restructurings, impairments, income taxes, asset retirement obligations, earnings per share, and not-for-profit accounting. Prior to joining PwC, Dutch was an engineer with the Federal Highway Administration.

Dutch joined PwC in 1997 and was admitted into the partnership in 2008. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She graduated with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University and received her MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester.
