PwC Announces Two New Partner Promotions in Atlanta

ATLANTA, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today two professionals from its Atlanta office have been admitted into the firm's partnership, effective July 1, 2012.

Amanda Foster was promoted to partner in PwC's Assurance practice. Foster will use her more than 15 years of accounting, tax and business advisory experience to serve clients in PwC's Retail and Consumer, Industrial Product and Technology sectors. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia. Foster received a Bachelor's degree and Masters in Accountancy from Auburn University.

Pieter Penning was promoted to partner in PwC's Advisory practice, specializing in data protection and security compliance. Pieter has more than 14 years of experience assisting large organizations with the development and implementation of security threat and vulnerability management solutions, and he is widely recognized as a leader within the payment compliance space. Pieter received his post graduate degree in Information Science from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where he also served as a faculty member before joining PwC.
