Pursuant Welcomes New Senior Vice President For Fundraising Communications
DALLAS, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pursuant is proud to announce and welcome Ben Stroup as senior vice president for fundraising communications. Stroup will lead initiatives for Pursuant, RSI Stewardship and their respective clients around content marketing, brand journalism, and publishing using strategies and tactics to increase capacity for impact. He will also be responsible for special projects as Pursuant continues to expand its services and products to the marketplace.
"Ben has proven himself as someone who can help high-capacity leaders and organizations use content to move people to action. We are excited to see the impact that he can make in our clients fundraising campaigns and strategies. I am thrilled to have him join our management team and watch as he helps accelerate the growth of Pursuant, RSI and our clients ability to have a bigger impact on the great work they are doing," says Trent Ricker, CEO.
As a self-professed content activist, Ben has dedicated more than a decade of his professional life to developing fully integrated, sustainable publishing models that drive leads, donors, revenue, and engagement. Prior to joining Pursuant, Ben founded a successful content development and management agency where he helped brands, businesses, nonprofits, and causes eliminate obstacles to impact and change in ways that could be measured and managed.
Ben says, "It takes a lot of audacity to claim you are 'redefining fundraising.' It is a seemingly impossible task, yet it is what is required to help nonprofits, charities, and causes thrive in a new area of fundraising. I am excited to be part of the team that will bring this dream into reality."
Ben writes and speaks about technology and fundraising, sustainable funding models, alternative revenue streams, leadership, and communications and marketing. He has written and edited more than 30 books and eBooks, many of them are collaborations with key leaders and organizations. Two of his latest book projects include Unconditional Love (B&H Publishing Group), and Hope in Front of Me (with former American Idol finalist Danny Gokey, NavPress). His next book, The Outlaw, the Magician, and the Hero, is scheduled to be released in 2015 (Abingdon Press).
