ALPINE, Utah and SAN FRANCISCO, June 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Purple Innovation, LLC (NASDAQ: PRPL) ("Purple"), a comfort technology company known for creating the "World's First No Pressure™ Mattress," today announced that it has further expanded its blended channel strategy by bringing its patented comfort technology products to select Mattress Firm locations in San Francisco.
The expansion to San Francisco will make Purple mattresses available in 16 additional stores, each hand-selected by Mattress Firm. Mattress Firm is the nation's number one specialty bedding retailer, with more than 3,000 neighborhood stores across 49 states.
San Francisco follows the recent announcement of Purple products in Mattress Firm locations in Chicago. They join Sacramento, Austin and Washington D.C., which were announced in 2017. The blended channel strategy has proven to be a huge success for Purple with customers now able to experience the products first-hand before making a purchase.
"It's been a pleasure working with Mattress Firm to place our products into the hands of our customers," said Terry Pearce, co-founder and CEO of Purple. "We're excited to offer people in San Francisco the chance to try out our mattresses at a physical location. At Purple, we're all about enhancing the customer experience and our partnership with Mattress Firm helps us achieve that."

Purple's newest generation of mattresses will be featured in each San Francisco location, including the company's signature, super-durable Hyper-Elastic Polymer® material. The mattresses tout carefully designed responsive support coils, which are tuned to work in unison with Purple's advanced technology. Each coil sits in an individual fabric casing to reduce noise, maintain motion isolation and provide full-body responsive support.
"Providing our customers with a selection of quality products is what we strive to achieve," said Mike Putzke, president of Mattress Firm's West Division. "We're excited to have Purple products available in select locations now in five cities. Now people in the Bay Area have a chance to experience Purple's innovative mattresses, at one of our conveniently located Mattress Firms."
