Purchasing Power Recognized For Strong Financial Growth By Inc. 5000 for Sixth Consecutive Year
Atlanta specialty e-commerce company adds to growing list of business achievement awards while helping employers reduce employee financial stress
ATLANTA, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fueled by a 100 percent three-year growth in revenue, Purchasing Power announced today the company obtained a ranking of 3222 on the 2013 Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine's annual listing of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This is the sixth consecutive year the company has appeared on the list, which makes Purchasing Power one of the 903 Honor Roll Alumni who have appeared at least five times on the Inc. 5000 list.

Methodology
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.
