PHOENIX, Oct. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Top surgeons from Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona tested their scalpel skills today at a "Doc-O-Lantern" pumpkin carving contest aimed at bringing public awareness to Halloween safety. Surgeons used sophisticated operating room equipment to carve pumpkins in the shape of lungs, hearts, brains and monsters. Orthopedic surgeon, Andrew Hodge, (pictured) did the first-ever joint replacement on a pumpkin. Ouch!
