PUCO Chairman and Lawmaker Todd Snitchler Joins McDonald Hopkins

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Todd Snitchler, who served for three years as chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) and was a state representative in Ohio's 50th District, has joined McDonald Hopkins as a member of the business department in its Columbus office. He will counsel the firm's national client base on issues related to energy policy and strategy, government affairs and regulatory matters.

Snitchler was a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) where he served on the Board of Directors, was co-vice chair of the association's committees on gas, as well as on the committee on International Relations. He also served as second vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners (MACRUC). "Todd's involvement with the NARUC and MACRUC, along with his PUCO experience will enhance the services provided by the talented group of attorneys in our Energy Practice," said Charles B. Snitchler earned a J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law and a bachelor's degree in history from Grove City College.
