PubMatic Announces New Relationships with Eleven Premium Publishers in the U.S.
Company Moves Into Expanded New York Office In Historic New York Times Building
NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PubMatic, the programmatic advertising platform for leading publishers, today announced that 11 premium publishers in the United States have begun to use its programmatic advertising platform. These publishers include: Bonnier (Popular Science, Outdoor Life, Saveur), Bustle.com, Comicbook.com, Daily Caller, Escalate Media, theGrio.com, iHeartRadio, Live Journal, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, SnagFilms and Vox Media. In 2014, the company has increased its number of publishers by 30% compared to the prior year and now works with 46 of the top 100 publishers on the comScore100.
PubMatic has not only begun new relationships with several premium publishers but has also deepened its relationship with many publishers already employing its platform. In the first half of 2014, 25% of PubMatic's publishers used its platform to monetize both mobile and desktop impressions up from 9% less than two years ago. The current average tenure of PubMatic's publishers has steadily grown over time and was 27 months as of mid-year 2014.
PubMatic also announced it has relocated its New York office to an 18,911-square-foot space in the historic New York Times Building at 229 West 43rd Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue adjacent to the center of Times Square. The space was customized to encourage collaboration.
The newly renovated space is designed to accommodate the significant growth in the company's New York-based workforce, which has doubled in the last year. PubMatic now has more than 550 employees worldwide.
"PubMatic is growing significantly faster than the market as more premium publishers partner with us to help them maximize their advertising revenue opportunities in the midst of a quickly evolving media landscape," said PubMatic President Kirk McDonald. "We are excited to move our New York office into the historic former New York Times building. The space was customized with the help of F2Design with an eye on the balance of form and function to encourage teamwork. It includes a Ping-Pong room, wellness area and multiple team collaboration and lounge seating areas."
Additionally on Friday, October 24, PubMatic will host its seventh annual Ad Revenue conference, which is the only annual media industry gathering focused on revenue growth strategies for premium publishers. The conference will be keynoted by PubMatic Co-Founder and CEO Rajeev Goel and will feature a fireside chat with iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman.
