Public Policy Leaders Will Be Featured at The Cable Show 2010
FCC Chairman and Commissioner, FTC Chairman, Administration and Other Key Public Officials to Discuss Broadband and Technology Issues that Impact American Consumers
WASHINGTON, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Key public officials focused on policies affecting the future of telecommunications will participate in The Cable Show 2010, the 59th Annual Convention and International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA).
The Cable Show takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the adjacent Nokia Theater on May 11-13, 2010.
The Cable Show's public policy sessions will be headlined by Julius Genachowski, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and Jon Leibowitz, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Chairman Leibowitz will present keynote remarks at the Plenary Session on Advertising, 11:00 am PDT on Wednesday, May 12 in Room 408A in the Convention Center. Chairman Genachowski will appear at a General Session at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, May 13 at the Nokia Theater.
