Public Invited to Meet Expedition Crew Member Caldwell Dyson

HOUSTON, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- After living aboard the International Space Station for six months, NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson will relive her spaceflight experience for the public, friends and co-workers in a special presentation at 6:30 p.m. CST Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Northrop Grumman Theater at Space Center Houston.

During the program, the long duration crew member of Expeditions 23 and 24 will give a first-hand account of her recent flight to the orbiting laboratory. The presentation will include video, photos and a question-and-answer session. Following the presentation, there will be a brief autograph session.

Admission to the presentation is free, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the 580-seat theater fills, guests will be seated in an adjacent area to watch the program on closed-circuit television.

Expedition 23 crew members Caldwell Dyson and Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Kornienko launched aboard the Soyuz TMA-18 crew capsule on April 2, 2010 local time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. For 174 days, Caldwell Dyson served as a flight engineer performing human life sciences and physical sciences experiments and Earth observations aboard the station. She also performed three successful spacewalks totaling 22 hours and 49 minutes. Caldwell Dyson and her crewmates returned to Earth as Expedition 24 on Sept. 25, 2010 with a safe landing in central Kazakhstan.
