PSPINC Launches Redesigned Japanese-Online.com
BELLEVUE, Wash., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (PSPINC) has released a brand new, completely redesigned version of Japanese-Online.com, a Japanese language and culture lesson resource that has provided free lessons and articles since 1996.
The new version of Japanese-Online.com has released all Japanese lesson content for free to all visitors. Previously, interested visitors were required to register to gain access to advanced lessons and the full catalog of culture articles. The navigation and page layout have been redesigned to make it easier to find specific lessons and articles.
Japanese-Online.com has content suited to varying levels of study, including lessons for beginners as well as lessons tailored for those who need grammar and writing resources. Lessons are best suited to those who have basic understanding of hiragana and katakana alphabets before moving on to more advanced grammar lessons.
"We are proud to launch a modernized version of Japanese-Online.com," said Mayumi Nakamura, President and CEO of PSPINC. "We hope that this free resource helps a lot of new people who want to learn more about the Japanese language and culture."
PSPINC was founded in 1987 as a software localization company on Mercer Island, Washington. Early products localized by PSPINC included KanjiKit and KanjiWORD, as well as games produced by Bungie. These products led to the creation of Japanese-Online as a resource for English speakers who wanted to learn Japanese and a community where users could practice and converse. PSPINC moved into internet services in 1992 and currently hosts more than 38,000 websites out of their Data Center in Seattle.
