PSP, Inc. Received the 2011 Community Service Award From Lenny Wilkens Foundation
BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PSP, Inc. received the 2011 Community Service Award from Lenny Wilkens Foundation during its annual event, Lenny Wilkens Foundation Celebrity Classic Weekend. This award recognizes those who support, donate and work to bettering the community. PSP, Inc. was recognized for its support to the foundations and their efforts to raise funds for Japan after the earthquake and tsunami this year.
Each year, the Lenny Wilkens Foundation hosts fundraisers for the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic and other organizations that deliver healthcare and education services to children and their families. Their biggest event is the annual Lenny Wilkens Foundation Celebrity Classic Weekend, featuring a Dinner Auction, Golf Tournament and community service award recognitions.
"We never choose to do things for the community to be recognized but rather we choose to help the community when we can. After all, PSP would not have made this far without the support of the community," said Mayumi Nakamura, President and CEO of PSP, Inc. "For us it is just doing the right things. It is a great honor to receive this recognition."
