SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellness Center USA, Inc. (OTCQB: WCUI), today provided an update on Psoria-Shield's (PSI) November shipments of its flagship product, Psoria-Light® (PL 1000), to targeted dermatology markets in Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Minnesota, and North Carolina. This follows earlier shipments to the Miami, Cleveland, Chicago, and New York dermatology markets.
Revenue for the earlier shipments reported on October 1, 2015 will be realized in the pending quarter, ending December 31, 2015. Revenue for the present shipments will be partially realized in December 2015 and partially in January 2016.
It is anticipated that by Q1 2016, Psoria-Shield, Inc. will have secured exclusive representation in all primary and secondary US markets through tenured dermatology sales representatives. PSI's present focus is to establish a strong foundation consisting of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to represent the Psoria-Light® in their respective regions, which will form an identifiable brand image for the company and its flagship product.
Sales channels are also being established internationally within Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. By December 2015, PSI will have seasoned executives active in the Latin American, Canadian, and Asian dermatology markets. In Q2 2016, PSI will also engage seasoned executives for the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets. International distribution will consist of large, buy-sell Distributors who pay in advance and handle all Regulatory, Customer Service, Inventory, and Local Marketing.
The Deep UV LED technology behind PL 1000 is the Space Age's answer in these challenging markets - clinically efficacious, low cost, and with minimal maintenance and downtime. Excimer lasers are too expensive to purchase and maintain and Biologics or systemic drugs are not only expensive, but also risky with many contra indications. In markets such as India, which alone registers the highest number of psoriasis cases compared to any other country in the world, Psoria-Light® is the most attractive solution.
