PSEG Selects Unify for State-of-the-Art Energy Trading Communication

PSEG owns and operates a diverse fleet of power plants with more than 13,000 megawatts of generating capacity located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions and has solar energy facilities throughout the United States. With one of the largest trading platforms in the US at its Newark, New Jersey headquarters, PSEG needed a communications solution that would enable fast, secure and reliable trade execution. As they neared end-of-life with their existing solution, PSEG issued an RFP for a state-of-the-art turret system that offered superior flexibility, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. The solution also needed to support installation at two remote disaster recovery sites.
