PRSA Colorado Announces 2013 Leadership Team
Kim Sporrer Elected President to One of the National Association's Top Ten Largest Chapters
DENVER, Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Public Relations Society of America Colorado Chapter (PRSA) today announced its newly elected 2013 leadership team. The PRSA Colorado 2013 Board of Directors was elected by the membership at its annual meeting on October 24, 2012.
Incoming President Kim Sporrer, APR, welcomes her position leading professional development for the Colorado Chapter beginning January 1, 2013. "As a long-time supporter and active member of PRSA both nationally and in Colorado, I know firsthand what a viable resource we provide for public relations students and professionals alike," said Sporrer. "It will be an honor to lead this organization and build upon the good work and forward momentum established by my predecessors."
Sporrer is the Marketing and Communications Manager for The Women's Foundation of Colorado based in Denver and brings nearly 25 years of diverse public relations and communications experience with nonprofit, corporate and government sectors to her leadership role with PRSA Colorado. She has been an active member of PRSA since 1999 and a member of the Colorado Chapter for seven years. Sporrer earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2007 from the Universal Accreditation Board and currently also serves on the organization's Board of Directors.
