(NYSE: PFS) announced that it expects to release financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 on Friday, July 27, 2012  at approximately 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.  A copy of the earnings release will be immediately available on the Company's web site, www.providentnj.com, by going to Investor Relations and clicking on Press Releases.

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Martin, together with Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Thomas M. Lyons, will hold a conference call for investors at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, July 27, 2012, to discuss highlights of the Company's second quarter 2012 financial results.  Information about the conference call is as follows:
