Provant Announces Expansion of Retail Access Network for Biometric Screening and Flu Vaccination Services

EAST GREENWICH, R.I., April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Workplace well-being leader Provant today announced the expansion of its retail access network for biometric screening and flu vaccination services. With thousands of offsite screening and vaccination locations across the country, employers can provide workers with greater choice and convenience to identify their health risks for preventable diseases and protect themselves against influenza.

Provant's remote services options complement the company's onsite screening programs.  The preventive screenings test for risks including cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure, with the goal of educating and alerting employees to potential health conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome and diabetes.  

According to survey results, over 79 percent of employees who participated in the company's biometric screenings reported that, following their screening, they were influenced to make positive changes in their lifestyle behaviors. Additionally, 92 percent of employees reported that the biometric screenings were a positive experience.

Based on data gathered from biometric screenings, Provant collaborates with employers to strategize and launch programs customized to the health risks of their workforces.
