NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Luxury travel agency Protravel International will once again sponsor New York City's biggest food festival, the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF), which takes place Oct. 11-14. One of New York City's most popular culinary festivals, NYCWFF will bring together more than 400 world-renowned chefs and culinary personalities and offer attendees a variety of culinary and entertainment experiences at over 75 events held at unique venues around the city. Protravel's involvement will help support the festival's charitable causes, No Kid Hungry® and Food Bank For New York City, through its donation of luxury travel packages which will be auctioned off during exclusive dinner events during the festival.
"Protravel International has a long history of crafting bespoke culinary experiences for clients so it's an honor for us to align with an event that similarly strives to create memorable experiences for food and wine lovers," said Becky Powell, President of Protravel International.
"Giving back is integral to who we are at Protravel, and we are proud to work with our partners to donate five incredible vacation experiences to be auctioned off with 100 percent of the proceeds going to help combat childhood hunger in America and New York City."
"The high-end trips Protravel International has donated, coupled with the world-class cuisines offered, are key to helping us promote hunger awareness and raise much needed funds to help end hunger," said Lee Brian Schrager, NYCWFF Festival Founder and Director. "We are grateful for Protravel's help in assembling and generously donating these extraordinary travel packages this year."
Together with its supplier partners, Protravel assembled five unique, luxurious trips for guests attending select NYCWFF dinners to bid on:
