MENLO PARK, Calif., June 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, Protiviti President and CEO Joseph Tarantino has been recognized as a Glassdoor Highest Rated CEO. Glassdoor's annual award recognizes the top leaders in countries in North America and parts of Europe. Tarantino is ranked among CEOs at large companies in the U.S. The Glassdoor list is based on voluntary reviews written and shared by Protiviti employees on Glassdoor.com throughout the year.
Since assuming the role as CEO of Protiviti in 2007, Tarantino has consistently made the global consulting firm's employees a priority. His emphasis on company culture and accessible leadership has repeatedly contributed to the organization's recognition as a leading place to enhance and grow careers.
"Joe's leadership style, and his focus on collaboration and company culture, has set the tone for all of our employees here at Protiviti," said Scott Redfearn, executive vice-president and head of global human resources at Protiviti. "The culture that permeates our organization and provides meaningful career experiences exists because of Joe's influence."
Earlier this year, Protiviti was recognized on Glassdoor's 2016 list of the 50 Best Places to Work and was also named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list in both 2015 and 2016.
"Inspiring and motivating an entire workforce is an overwhelming, yet imperative, undertaking," said Glassdoor CEO and co-founder, Robert Hohman. "The CEOs on this list have earned the approval and respect of their employees, evidenced by the feedback shared on Glassdoor. This list celebrates that achievement and challenges all CEOs to aim to do the same."
CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor's online company review survey, which seeks to gain current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance, and asked whether they approve or disapprove of the way their CEO is leading the company. In addition, employees are asked to describe some of the upsides and downsides of working for the company and provide any advice for senior management.
