Protiviti's Day of Service Helps Not-for-Profits in 25 U.S. Cities

WHO:

Protiviti (www.protiviti.com), a global consulting firm, and more than 150 interns and employees

WHAT:

Nationwide Day of Service for Protiviti's interns and employees in 25 cities around the country in support of not-for-profit organizations and partners – including Project Open Hand, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Lung Association, among many others.

Examples of Day of Service projects include:

Protiviti's Atlanta office sorting and packing books for children unable to attend school in Africa

The Cleveland, Washington, DC, and Tampa Bay offices helping local Ronald McDonald Houses by preparing meals for families with seriously ill children

In San Francisco, interns helping Project Open Hand by preparing food for the elderly and critically ill

•

Working with Chicago-based Umoja to help local high school students improve their educational opportunities

WHY:

Protiviti has a track record of a strong commitment to volunteerism and community service. The firm has extended this commitment in creating the Intern Day of Service, which will be a key aspect of its summer internship program in the future.
