MENLO PARK, Calif., May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Carol Beaumier, executive vice president of strategic planning at Protiviti (www.protiviti.com), a global consulting firm, has been honored as a 2014 Top 25 Consultant by Consulting magazine in the leadership category.
The recognition, which honors industry professionals making the greatest impact on clients and within their firms, is a confirmation of Beaumier's skilled leadership, deep experience and knowledge, and ability to help guide corporate strategy across numerous industries.
"From day one, Carol has played a pivotal role in Protiviti's ability to be a leader in the consulting industry and deliver exceptional value to our clients," said Joseph Tarantino, president and CEO of Protiviti. "We're proud of the role she serves in our firm, and of this deserved recognition."
Based in New York, Beaumier leads Protiviti's Global Financial Services practice in addition to overseeing the implementation of the firm's strategic plan. With more than 30 years of professional experience as a financial services industry consultant and former bank regulator with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), she provides a level of knowledge and experience matched by few in the industry.
The honor will also usher Beaumier into an elite group of past Protiviti Top 25 Consultant winners: Jim Pajakowski (2013), Jim Armetta (2012), Jim DeLoach (2011), and Cory Gunderson (2009).
"We were incredibly impressed with the more than 400 nominations we received this year. Each year, the Top 25 nominations seem to get stronger, and this year was no different," says Consulting Editor and Publisher Joe Kornik. "And, the type of work that clients are seeking continues to shift in the right direction. Clients have grown tired of cost cutting and have shifted back into growth mode in a big way. They are investing again, and are looking to consultants to help them grow their business. That's great news."
The publication will celebrate the winners at its annual Top 25 Consultants Achievement Awards Dinner, which will be held on June 19 at the JW Marriot Essex House in New York City.
