ProtectWise Enhances Visibility, Detection and Response For Network Traffic on AWS

DENVER, Dec. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Security leader ProtectWise today announced enhancements to The ProtectWise Grid, its platform which provides automated network detection and response across Enterprise, Cloud and Industrial Environments. Aimed at organizations running workloads in multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) instances, new integrations between The ProtectWise Grid and AWS, via the DescribeInstances and CreateTags actions of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) API, allow security teams to quickly locate, investigate and respond to threats.

The ProtectWise Grid provides context fusion through a blend of threat intelligence that allows security teams to identify instances with anomalous activity and tag them for further action. In addition to giving organizations greater visibility into their AWS deployments, the integrations also facilitate efficient communication and coordination between security and developer operation teams that manage networks on AWS.
