CHICAGO, May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you live with someone who snores? Protect-A-Bed wants to hear from you. The company is launching its Who Snores More sweepstakes to find out who snores more in American households – men or women – and provide some snoring relief.
Protect-A-Bed is offering men and women the opportunity to nominate a male or female for the chance to win a SnoreBeGone® sleep positioning system, designed to position the body to overcome contributing factors that can increase the likeliness of snoring.
The sweepstakes is being kicked off right before Mother's Day and will end soon after Father's Day. "The idea is to give men the opportunity to provide women who snore the perfect Mother's Day gift – help with snoring," says James Bell, CEO of Protect-A-Bed. "Women, too, can nominate the dad in the household, just in time for Father's Day."
Six lucky winners will win a SnoreBeGone. One male and one female will be randomly selected on May 17, May 31 and June 14 to win the prizes. Two grand prize winners (one male and one female) will be randomly selected on June 21 to each win a $500 gift card to a national retailer.
"While snoring is no laughing matter, we wanted to have some fun with a sweepstakes and offer the chance for people who snore to get some relief," says Bell. "It's also a fun way to find out if men or women snore more, and offer a product that could potentially help them."
According to Bell, the sweepstakes will run on Protect-A-Bed's website, where participants will be asked a few questions regarding their significant other who snores, such as how the snoring affects them, what the snoring sounds like, and tips for getting more sleep while living with someone who snores.
