Prospect Mortgage and Watt Communities Host "Support Our Troops" Barbecue at Enclave in Ventura

VENTURA, Calif., May 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Prospect Mortgage, LLC, one of the nation's largest independent mortgage lenders, will partner with Watt Communities to host a Memorial Weekend barbecue at the Enclave new home community in Ventura on Saturday, May 28th from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes for veterans who were severely injured post September 11, 2001. The goal of Homes for Our Troops is to help these veterans to rebuild their lives.

"We've been working on this project for five years. Since forming the partnership with HFOT, Prospect has donated more than $78,000 to the organization. Along with the ongoing monetary donation, Prospect encourages its employees to attend or volunteer for Homes for Our Troops. Employees have attended groundbreaking ceremonies of homes being built for veterans, participated in Volunteer Day to help landscape homes and attended key ceremonies to see the keys of a new home being handed to a veteran.
