MORRISTOWN, N.J., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ProSight Specialty® Insurance announced a new offering today that raises the bar on safety standards in the transportation industry by offering an enhanced drug test to its customers that goes beyond standard DOT-compliant testing to eliminate the riskiest drivers that typically go undetected.  The same advantages are available for crane, scaffold and solar contractor customers in ProSight's Building and Building Services niche.  

With the goal of delivering forward-thinking solutions to transportation companies, ProSight partnered with Foley Carrier Services, a prominent transportation compliance firm, to create ProSight's Drug Testing Program powered by Foley.  This program includes a robust drug testing package to help transportation customers identify drivers utilizing drugs not monitored in a typical Department of Transportation drug test. 

ProSight created the program in response to strong customer demand for a fleet compliance product that provides greater insight into employee safety profiles while also managing the burdensome and time consuming process of DOT compliance.

Research identified that risky drivers often have a short tenure of service, which can be extremely expensive due to tardiness, missing work and performance issues.  All of these impact our customers' bottom line by increasing costs.
