ProSight Names Tim Ryan President

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Aug. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- ProSight Specialty Insurance Group, Inc. ("ProSight"), a domestic specialty insurance company, today announced the appointment of Tim Ryan as President, effective August 27, 2021, to lead ProSight's new product verticals and build upon its existing niche business.

Ryan will report to Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Ritz. "Tim has a proven track record enhancing specialty insurance products, building high performing teams, servicing customers, and delivering profitable results," said Ritz. "I'm confident our customers will benefit immensely from Tim's background, expertise, vision, and strategic direction."

Ryan joins ProSight as a seasoned leader with over 25 years of insurance underwriting experience. Most recently, he served as Head of Wholesale Business at Navigators, a Brand of The Hartford. He previously served as President of Specialty Casualty and Specialty Excess Casualty at Navigators and Executive Vice President and Chief Excess Casualty Officer at Aspen Insurance.

Larry Hannon, current President and Co-Founder, announced his resignation from his position as President. Hannon will continue in an advisory capacity to the CEO through mid-December. "We are grateful for Larry's contributions to ProSight," said Ritz.
