ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ProQuest will continue its longstanding relationship with YBP, enabling libraries to purchase its selection of more than 730,000 ebooks through the GOBI platform. ProQuest titles will continue to be offered through all available purchase models, including Perpetual Archive, Short-Term Loans, Demand-driven Acquisition (DDA) and Extended Access. Customer contracts with ProQuest will be unaffected by the recent change in YBP's ownership and account contacts will remain the same as before.
"Like all of our many partnerships, our participation in GOBI is based on our commitment to unbiased access to information, and to collaborations that make workflows seamless," said Kurt Sanford, ProQuest CEO. "We are continuing our relationship with YBP without disruption to support these commitments. This is driven by what's best for our customers and the patrons they serve."
