Prophet Reorganizes Senior Management Structure; Enhanced Roles for Pierce, Davis, Marlow
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Prophet, a strategic brand and marketing consultancy, today announced a series of senior management changes geared to enhance its flexibility in anticipating and responding to global growth opportunities.
"We have achieved extraordinary success in recent years, but with our growth comes the challenge of more effectively harnessing the power of our expanding roster of capabilities, people, and, of course, clients," said Michael Dunn, Chief Executive Officer.
The changes entail a greater delineation of roles and responsibilities within Prophet's global executive committee, according to Dunn, who remains CEO and will be dialing up his focus on strategy activation and acquisitive growth.
Andy Pierce, Senior Partner, has been named President, U.S. Pierce will have responsibility for all commercial aspects of the business including demand generation, client development, and talent identification and development. Dunn said: "Andy's strong commercial leadership skills, combined with his ground-breaking work in getting Prophet's marketing practice formally launched, make this role a natural next step."
Scott Davis, Senior Partner, has been named Chief Growth Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for practice area stewardship, Intellectual Property development, and overall reputation building. "Scott's track record of putting compelling thought leadership in the market will serve us well as we formalize Prophet's approach to practice development in the brand, marketing, design and innovation areas," said Dunn.
Simon Marlow, Chief Financial Officer, has added Chief Operating Officer duties to his responsibilities. Going forward, he will focus on overseeing Prophet's operations as well as its finances. Said Dunn: "Simon's strategic yet pragmatic approach to financial and operational leadership is exactly what we need as we continue to scale the business across practices and geographies."
Citing the importance of enhancing Prophet's ability to serve clients globally, Dunn also noted that the firm has retained the search firm Spencer Stuart to recruit an executive to fill the new position of EMEA President.
