Prophet Launches 'The Inspiratory' blog for the Interested and Interesting
SAN FRANCISCO, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- "The Inspiratory," a new blog designed to showcase the full scope of its thinking, client successes, and approachable style, has been launched by Prophet, a leading global brand and marketing consultancy.
"We see The Inspiratory as more of a community than a typical blog, one where we welcome marketers and others with an interest in brand and marketing's role and impact to come and get inspired," said Michael Dunn, Chief Executive Officer of Prophet.
The Inspiratory features bite-sized posts utilizing a variety of media, such as videos and infographics, and provides commentary on trends and hot topics as they are unfolding. It also will provide snapshots of the culture that differentiates Prophet, from initiatives under its Prophet for Non-Profit banner to outtakes from its Prophet Unplugged all-hands, bi-annual retreat (this year in Iceland) and idea jam. In keeping with its "community" nature, The Inspiratory will feature the voices of the firm's people at all levels, and will periodically highlight those of clients and other business partners.
"This is an exciting way for Prophet and our friends to act on all the advantages and possibilities of today's digitally networked world," said Scott Davis, Chief Growth Officer of Prophet.
"It's a great way to pull together all the facets of our digital persona, but to also get creative in how we engage the wider community. Going beyond comments and "likes," for example, we're planning to host real time Q&As with our thought leaders and fun contests to inspire innovative thinking," Davis added.
Prophet also hosts two other blogs. In "Aaker on Brands," noted brand authority and Prophet Vice Chairman David Aaker writes on topics ranging from brand relevance to extensions to innovation. Prophet's PLAYSTUDIO blog curates experiences and perspectives to better connect the discipline of inspiration with the practice of business.
Additionally, Aaker regularly blogs for the Harvard Business Review and Fast Company, and Davis blogs for Forbes.
"Blogging – especially how we're approaching it through The Inspiratory – can be a compelling and engaging way to express our personality to our various audiences," said Dunn. "We are excited for where this can take us."
Prophet is a strategic brand and marketing consultancy that helps its clients win by delivering inspired and actionable ideas.
