PropellShops Expands Marketing, Products Targeting Military Partners
Unique Products, Promotions Tailored to Armed Services Members, Families
SAN ANSELMO, Calif., July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Propell Corporation (OTC: PROP), founder of the PropellShops® "instant ecommerce" system for schools, businesses, nonprofits and the military, is expanding the products offered through its partnership with the Army Air Force Exchange Service (www.shop.aaafes.com and www.shopmyexchange.com), and is supporting the product launches with new promotions and pricing, the Company announced today.
Propell is featuring the products in new marketing and advertising in its Made To Order Military shops (at www.madetoordermilitary.com). The Made To Order Military shops offer military-specific personalized apparel and gifts in partnership with AAFES. Every branch of the service is represented, and all products can be personalized and by the shopper.
"The centerpiece of our new products and promotions at www.MadeToOrderMilitary.com is a unique new product – a 40-by-60-inch blanket that has a personalized military image knitted right into the fabric," said Ed Bernstein, Propell CEO. "The image is actually part of the fabric, rather than printed or embroidered later. Shoppers can customize it, add their name, even change color or add a photo or other image. It's a huge step up from anything we've seen offered in this market before," he added.
Propell is introducing the new product – which is part of a special AAFES promotion that includes a reduced price and a personalized tote bag at no additional cost– as part of its campaign to introduce unique products for customers who qualify to purchase from AAFES, which includes more than 12 million active duty, reserve and retired military and their families.
In addition to the shops it manages for military customers, Propell already permits any group – whether a school, musician, business, nonprofit or other organization – to quickly launch a branded online shop featuring the group's logo or artwork on a variety of personalized apparel and gifts without any investment in inventory. The products on display in a PropellShop are all made "on demand" by Propell – meaning they are manufactured only when ordered, so there is no risk for the partner.
Propell provides online shops for numerous K-12 schools and universities nationwide, including University of Rochester, Cal State San Marcos and Biola University, as well as has licensing relationships with the Licensing Resource Group and Affinity Marketing for additional schools, conferences, and sororities and fraternities. The company also is a partner of the Independent College Bookstore Association (www.icbainc.com), the California Association of College Stores (www.cacsonline.org), and the National Association of College Stores (www.nacs.org); and is a School Solutions Partner for the American Association of School Administrators (www.aasa.org).
