Prominent Lawyer Helps Women And Families In Crisis
HOUSTON, Dec. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As the end of the year approaches, many look forward to a new year filled with hope and optimism. For the homeless or families in crisis, that optimism can easily get lost, especially this time of year. Prominent Houston attorney, Terry Bryant, teamed up with Gracewood, a ministry that rescues single mothers and their children from homelessness and poverty.
"When we heard about these families, we thought it was a way that we could help make the holidays and the new year brighter for these children," said Barbara Bryant, Director of Community Relations for Terry Bryant. After contacting Gracewood to identify the need, Bryant and staff donated personal items as well as a new set of Christmas pajamas for each of the nearly 30 children that are presently living at Gracewood.
Gracewood's mission is to help lift families out of poverty, but also to provide hope to people. "We were glad to help play a role in that for these very special children," Bryant added.
