Guests showed up wearing clothing signifying many moods and expressions of art. Mrs. West proudly sported an off the shoulder red and white dress made of paper with images of Michelle Obama during some of  her most memorable occasions as First Lady of the United States of America. The dress was designed by Fashionista, Deanna Santiago (of Houston) and gained a lot of attention and favorable reviews.

"I am an optimist, so I wanted to wear something that would symbolize power and possibility and what better example is there than Michelle Obama?" explains West.

The highly coveted event brought out the who's who in entertainment, technology and philanthropy. Honorary chairpersons for the event included Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Solange Knowles, Bianca Lawson and Kelly Rowland. All of which were amongst the many stars that showed up in support. Jay Z and the couple's daughter Blue Ivy were also in attendance.
