Prominent Antitrust Attorney, Kendall S. Zylstra, Joins Rust Consulting

PHILADELPHIA, July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rust Consulting is pleased to announce that Kendall S. Zylstra has joined its industry leading team as Director of Business Development.  With his decades-long experience in complex litigation, Mr. Zylstra will focus on Rust's rapidly expanding antitrust practice area. 

Most recently, Mr. Zylstra was a partner at Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP where he focused on antitrust class actions challenging unfair trade practices, price-fixing, monopolies, and delayed-generic pharmaceutical cases.  While at the firm he was Chair of its Antitrust Litigation Department.  Based on his extensive antitrust expertise he was appointed to the Advisory Board of the American Antitrust Institute in 2013. 

Mr. Zylstra has represented two Internet companies over claims of price-fixing against a giant retailer and product manufacturers.  He also represented PacifiCare, and other large third-party payors, about claims that Abbott Laboratories and Laboratories Fournier suppressed generic drug competition, in violation of the Sherman Act.  He has represented Schuylkill Health System as a class representative in a price-fixing case involving blood reagents.  He has represented dozens of other antitrust plaintiffs in his extensive career.

Mr. Zylstra is a graduate of Temple University School of Law (J.D. 1991) where he received the Temple Law Alumni/ae Award for Moot Court Excellence. Mr. Zylstra was an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, between 1991-1996.
