Prodware Enhances its Offer of Industry Solutions and Applications with the Acquisition of Capwan
PARIS, January 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Prodware, a key player in providing business applications and solutions for enterprises, acquires Capwan, vendor and integrator of the software solution Capvin, dedicated to the wine and spirits sector.
With this operation, the Prodware Group, already present with producers and wholesalers in the wine and spirits sector with its industry solution Prod'Wine & Spirits, expands its solution offer and client base.
Complete, ergonomic and powerful, the Capvin solution addresses companies of the sector (traders, cooperatives and producers) with only a few users to several hundred. In this niche, Capwan achieved in 2011 a turnover of over € 1 million, of which 40% was recurring contracts, in the Alsace, Aquitaine, Burgundy, Paca and Rhone-Alpes regions.
As part of its development strategy, Prodware will quickly capitalize upon this offer by:
- industrializing its marketing and R & D,
- expanding its direct distribution throughout France and in our 16 core countries,
- offering it in indirect mode via the Microsoft partner network.
Consequently, as of September, the Capvin solution will become multilingual and also available in the "cloud".
It will be available on the P-Box, the unique solution developed by Prodware in partnership with Microsoft that enables SMEs to access a range of solutions including ERP, CRM, office automation and online collaboration tools at an extremely reasonable price, service included. Customers of Capvin will thus have a solution tailored to their needs, based on a powerful and secure platform, as well as the flexibility of the
P-Box, including its simple and cost efficient financing model (based on a monthly rent of the number of users).
"We are very pleased with this acquisition made under excellent conditions. It is part of the announced strategy of strengthening our position as a vendor/ISV and integrator of industry solutions and applications for industry, commerce, services and construction. Prodware thus confirms its position as a key player in the niche market for wines and spirits and has reached the critical size that allows it to industrialize this offer and launch internationally. We would like to thank the staff of Capwan for their strong motivation to join our business plan and objectives" concludes Philippe Bouaziz, President of Prodware.
