The gondola, constructed by Doppelmayr, transports Kadenwood homeowners and their guests between the Creekside Village base and Kadenwood in approximately six minutes. Covering a vertical rise of 228 metres (749 feet), the gondola will comfortably accommodate eight people with skis. In the summer time, bikes and strollers can also be transported between Whistler's valley trails and Creekside's numerous amenities.
"The convenience and proximity this private gondola affords Kadenwood residents tops off the ultimate enclave in North America's top rated ski resort," says Keith McIvor, Vice President of Sales for EcOasis Properties Limited, the development company which acquired Kadenwood from Vancouver resort development and management company Intrawest ULC on September 30, 2010.
The neighbourhood consists of 60 planned home-sites of which two-thirds have been already sold. Nestled in the pristine forest high above Whistler Creekside, the exclusive and prestigious neighbourhood of Kadenwood offers magnificent estate home-sites that represent the peak of luxury living in Whistler, BC.
Every element in Kadenwood is carefully considered with meticulous attention to detail. Home-sites are sized generously and surveyed carefully to accommodate the most spectacular homes with the most glorious views of the mountains and valley.
Next month, EcOasis will release details about home-sites available for purchase ranging in price from $1 - $3 million. For more information about Kadenwood ownership opportunities and to register advance interest, visit www.kadenwoodhomes.com or call 1.800.590.4029.
