Private Clubs Magazine Wins Four FOLIO: Awards for Content and Design Excellence
DALLAS, Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Private Clubs magazine, the magazine published by ClubCorp Publications, an affiliate of ClubCorp USA - The World Leader in Private Clubs®, recently won four 2010 FOLIO: awards in its division, association/non-profit publications published less than six times a year. The FOLIO: Awards annually recognize the best in magazine editorial (Eddie awards) and design (Ozzie awards) and this year were announced at a luncheon in New York City Jan. 25.
Private Clubs won the gold medal Ozzie in the Best Overall Design category for its Spring 2010 issue; the silver Ozzie for Best Use of Photography for its "Chill Baby" article about summer cocktails in the Summer 2009 issue; the silver Eddie for best Website (privateclubs.com); and the bronze Eddie for best Single Article for "The Price is Right," a story about travel deals in the down economy, also in the Summer 2009 issue.
