Private Advisor Group Named one of Financial Times Top 300 RIAs
MORRISTOWN, N.J., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Private Advisor Group, LPL Financial's largest branch office by revenues* and a $5B RIA, was named one of the Financial Times top 300 Registered Investment Advisors.
"We are excited to be part of this elite group of RIAs and attribute our success to all of our advisors who align themselves with us," said Patrick Sullivan, Managing Director of Private Advisor Group. "This honor is really for our entire network of advisors and we could not be prouder."
This is the inaugural list for the Financial Times. "The selection process rewards attributes that its affluent investors care about (or should care about). We solicited applications from more than 2,000 independent RIA firms who had $300 million or more in assets. We graded firms on six broad factors and calculated a numeric score for each advisor. Areas of consideration include AUM, AUM growth, years the firm has been in existence, industry certifications of staff, SEC compliance record, and online accessibility."said a spokesperson for the Financial Times. "Only independent, elite RIA practices were considered. To make sure the list is relevant to individual investors we required that no more than 75% of a practice's assets be institutional."
