Print vs. Digital: Investor Relations Study Looks At Annual Report Production
Print not dead for shareholder communications
NEW YORK, Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Each spring, public companies expend great energy producing their annual reports for shareholders. - Only 28.9% of respondents expect to produce a full color annual report. In addition to financial reports, these types of reports include marketing-based content: photographs, colorful charts and product descriptions
- 41.3% expect to produce a "10-K wrap." Generally, this style includes a full color cover with one or two pages of non-financial content, including a CEO letter to shareholders. These pages are "wrapped" around the complete 10-K printing, which is only printed in black ink.
