Prime Therapeutics wins Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
Teams recognized for improved member experiences, health literacy work
ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingrid Lindberg, chief customer experience officer at Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime), and her teams were named winners of two2014 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. The awards recognize work done to create an easy-to-use website that helps people better understand their pharmacy benefits and more quickly select the best health plan for them.
Now in its 11th year, this annual awards program recognizes the world's top women in the workplace and their teams. Winners were announced in New York on Nov. 14. Lindberg accepted awards for the Maverick of the Year - Health Products and Services & Pharmaceuticals and the Best New Product or Service of the Year - Consumer Services categories.
"The Stevie Awards for Women in Business showcase the value that Prime's focus on customer experience brings to the members we serve," said Lindberg. "I am extremely proud of the work that has been done by all of the teams here at Prime, and I look forward to continuing our mission of improving each and every customer's experience with us."
Lindberg accepted a gold Best New Product or Service of the Year award for the work of numerous teams on the website Primehelps.com. The website, which launched in September 2013, was built to help make the decision of buying health insurance as simple as possible. The site provides an easy user experience that gets a health insurance shopper to the best plan for them in three steps using clear and simple language. Visitors of the site can view text in English or Spanish, look up confusing health care terms in the glossary, or view videos that better explain health insurance and how it can work for them.
Judges also honored Lindberg with a silver Maverick of the Year award for her achievements creating positive change for Prime and the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry. She was the first customer experience officer in the PBM field, and her work has resulted in numerous benefits for Prime and its members, including:
- a significant reduction in prescription process time – more than 50 percent;
- a 25 percent decrease in the amount of effort it takes a member to use Prime's services;
- a 14 percent increase in Prime's helpfulness.*
