Prime Therapeutics receives full Pharmacy Benefit Management Accreditation by URAC

ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime) has been awarded full Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Accreditation from URAC for its commitment to quality health care and member safety. URAC is a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. Prime has been a PBM accredited organization since 2007 and now remains accredited through 2016.

URAC's accreditation involved a rigorous review of Prime's customer service, contract terms, pharmacy distribution channels, patient safety, drug utilization management, formulary development, compliance, information technology, marketing, measurement of key metrics and quality improvement.
