Prime Healthcare Services Completes Purchase of Garden City Hospital
Acquisition Preserves Critical Acute Care Hospital
GARDEN CITY, Mich., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Prime Healthcare Services announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Garden City Hospital (GCH), located in Garden City, Michigan.
Prime Healthcare plans to invest at least $35 million in infrastructure and capital improvements beyond routine replacements and additions into Garden City Hospital. It will also continue to provide charity care at the existing level or better, as well as maintain a local governing board.
