Primary Energy Recycling to Participate in TSX Market Open As Part of the Cleantech 10™ Launch
OAK BROOK, IL, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ - Primary Energy Recycling Corporation (TSX: PRI), a clean energy company that generates revenue from capturing and recycling recoverable heat and byproduct fuels from industrial processes, announced today that it will participate in the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) market open on November 17, 2010, as part of the Cleantech 10 launch.
The Cleantech 10 is an index of public and private technology-driven growth companies that have significant impacts on resource efficiency and the environment. The list was compiled by Corporate Knights Inc. and Cleantech Group LLC, a leading provider of cleantech indices and information globally. Corporate Knights Magazine, a prominent corporate social responsibility publication, published the Cleantech 10 list in its October, 2010 issue.
The magazine states that the index is comprised of "Canada's best publicly and privately held companies" in the cleantech sector. Additionally, according to the publication, since the Cleantech 10's inception in 2007, it has outperformed the S&P/TSX Composite by 23 per cent.
