PricewaterhouseCoopers Announces Key National Human Capital Leadership Appointments

NEW YORK, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) today announced two key leadership appointments in the firm's human capital organization. Paula Loop has been named U.S. and Global Talent Leader and Holly Paul has been named U.S. Recruiting Leader.  Working closely together and alongside other members of the firm's human capital leadership team, they will help drive the people strategy to support PwC's broader business goals.

Ms. Loop will be responsible for advancing the firm's talent agenda in the United States and across PwC's global network.  She has been an innovative and passionate champion for the firm's people strategy during her two decades of experience at PwC.

Ms. Loop was the inspiration for the firm's Full Circle program, which enables parents or caregivers to take an extended period away from work, stay current with the profession and then "on-ramp" back to their careers.  She also led PwC's New York Metro Women's Initiative, which was designed to connect and advance women in the market, and played critical roles in staff development programs and partner succession planning.

Since joining PwC in 1983, Ms. Loop has worked in the firm's Assurance practice in the San Francisco, Los Angeles and Stamford offices.  In 2007, she became the managing partner of the Stamford office, and most recently served as the New York Metro Retail and Consumer Leader.  She will continue to serve many of her existing clients.

Ms. Loop is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration.  She lives in New Canaan, Conn., with her husband and three children.

Ms. Paul will lead the campus and experienced recruiting activities for the firm, which is continually among the largest employers in the United States.  PwC currently plans to hire more than 5,000 full-time professionals and interns over the next year.

Ms. Paul brings more than 16 years of experience in a variety of roles across PwC's organization to her new position.  She most recently served as PwC's National Sourcing Operations Leader for campus and experienced recruiting, where she was responsible for the business operations and financial management of the recruiting organization, as well as direction of campus and experienced recruitment strategies and initiatives.

Ms. Paul has led the human resource operations of PwC's Internal Firm Services (IFS) group, comprised of 7,000 professionals and served for a decade as a human resource leader in PwC's Carolinas and Washington, D.C. metro markets. She began her career in PwC's Florham Park, New Jersey office in 1994 as a client service assurance professional.  

A 1994 graduate of Lafayette College with a BA in Anthropology and a concentration in Accounting, Ms. Paul is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and maintains certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  She resides in Bethesda, MD with her husband and two children.
