PricewaterhouseCoopers and Global Computer Enterprises Announce Joint Business Relationship
PwC to team with GCE to provide government agencies with a federally compliant Oracle governance, risk and compliance solution
WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and Global Computer Enterprises (GCE), a leading provider of federal financial management systems, today announced a Joint Business Relationship (JBR) to deliver an Oracle-based federal governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solution. The JBR will enable federal agencies to benefit from PwC's experience in helping agencies assess and implement GRC solutions and GCE's capability as a federal agency shared service provider.
"PwC has a long-standing commitment to the federal financial management community, and we are pleased to team with GCE to help federal agencies meet the requirements of OMB's Financial Management Line of Business (FMLoB) initiative," said Mac Henderson, Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers' Public Sector practice. "GCE's successful implementation of its SSP Appliance as a cloud-computing based financial management solution for the Department of Labor is testament to GCE's leadership in the federal market."
As a result of this joint business relationship, PwC and GCE will work together to configure the Oracle GRC applications within GCE's Federal Shared Service Provider (SSP) Appliance. As a leader in A-123 assessment services across the Federal government, PwC will provide specific insight and advice to GCE on Federal compliance requirements as these applications are configured. This alliance further expands GCE's service offerings within its SSP environment to offer new and existing customers an OracleGRC solution that is integrated into their SSP Appliance.
GCE President and CEO Ray Muslimani added, "This alliance brings together two acknowledged leaders in federal financial management. Adding the GRC solution to our solution further demonstrates GCE and PWC's commitment to proactively addressing the compliance and accountability goals of our federal customers."
