Prices Drop for LED Tennis Court Lighting Systems

WORCESTER, Mass., Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LED technology is constantly improving in energy efficiency, lumen output and module life while the cost is falling. Progress is enabling tennis court lighting systems to improve while prices fall. Each LED luminaire employed produces 15,000 lumens using only 164 watts, for an incredible 91 lumens per watt. These values are minimum average maintained footcandles. The LED luminaires are rated for 100,000 hours, 25 degrees C ambient L85, based on projected value per IESNA TM21-11, and are IP66, Design Lighting Consortium (DLC) approved, and are warrantied for 5 years.
