WAYNE, N.J., Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Toys"R"Us^® announced its annual nationwide in-store and online fundraising campaign to benefit The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The company is encouraging customers to help spread joy to some of the nearly 16 million U.S. children living in poverty by donating new, unwrapped toys at any Toys"R"Us or Babies"R"Us^® store across the country through Friday, December 15. All toys donated in-store will go to children located within that local community. Benefactors can also make cash donations both in-store and online at Toysrus.com/ToysforTots through Sunday, December 24.

However, families choose to give back during the season of giving, a contribution to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation addresses a communal need – in this case, putting a smile on the faces of local children who would otherwise go without a present on Christmas morning. "I've visited homes where people have lost everything from floods or fires and then the marines show up with bags of toys – it changes the whole dynamic of the family's life," said Henry Butts, Toys for Tots Coordinator in Volusia County, FL.
