Prestigious Community of Oracle Technology Experts Welcomes US-Analytics' Senior BI Architect

DALLAS, June 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- US-Analytics' Senior BI Architect was welcomed last week into the worldwide Oracle ACE program, a community of experts recognized for their skills and insights shared throughout the Oracle user community.

Becky Wagner, who's been working with Oracle products since 2011, was awarded the Oracle ACE Associate title at a dinner during Kscope18, an annual conference held by Oracle Developer Tools Users Group (ODTUG). Wagner was nominated for the role in December 2017 by Oracle ACE Director Christian Berg and awarded the title for her involvement in knowledge sharing across several platforms.

"Becky's a frequent participant in our discussions. A while back we also started to push her to start speaking and become more involved in the community," Berg said. "On top of that, she heads the BI community of ODTUG so all-in-all my proposing her was a no-brainer."

Wagner has experience implementing, supporting, and training customers on Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) and data integration products. She's recently expanded her portfolio to include Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), a new and innovative platform offered in the Oracle cloud.    

Wagner said she plans to continue to gain experience with more Oracle products because she likes "finding the edge pieces where two different technologies meet, and [learning] how they can help each other out."

Wagner is the second Oracle ACE Associate at US-Analytics, joining the VP of EPM, Brian Marshall, a regular presenter for groups like ODTUG. Oracle ACE Associate is the first level of the three-level program — the next is Oracle ACE, followed by Oracle ACE Director.

"The program is about evangelizing Oracle in the community, right? Clearly, it's long overdue for her, she's been an active member for some time," Marshall said.

As an Oracle ACE Associate, Wagner will be expected to continue a strong social media presence, participate in the online Oracle community, remain active in a local user group, and continue to increase all knowledge-sharing efforts.

Shortly after the announcement of Wagner's Oracle ACE Associate status, she was invited to present at two user group events. She believes this proves the "weight" of the ACE program in identifying her as an expert in the Oracle BI community.

"It's a recognition that [shows] I've been sharing as part of the community and I'm going to continue to do that and work towards the ACE Director title," Wagner said.
