Prestige Care Inc. begins operating nine new Northwest senior care communities
VANCOUVER, Wash., Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Washington-based senior care provider Prestige Care, Inc. recently began operating nine skilled nursing and rehabilitation and senior care centers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho, expanding the company's footprint across the Pacific Northwest.
The care centers include eight skilled nursing centers and one assisted living community. Prestige commenced operations on Oct. 1, 2012.
Prestige's care philosophy is rooted in a set of shared core values that deliver on a promise to provide unmatched quality care, led by a compassionate heart. Across the company, Prestige team members strive to personally touch lives, guided by the four pillars of the company's core values: respect, integrity, commitment, trust.
"Our values-driven approach is truly at the center of everything we do," said Harold Delamarter, president and CEO of Prestige Care. "We warmly welcome these nine new communities into the Prestige family and look forward to personally touching the lives of residents, family, staff and the greater community in each of these new growth areas."
The new Prestige communities in Washington are Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Sunnyside, Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Grandview, Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Clarkston, Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Camas, Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Burlington, and Richland Rehabilitation Center, which also provides assisted living care onsite as Prestige Assisted Living at Richland.
In Oregon, Prestige Care & Rehabilitation – Menlo Park in Portland has joined Prestige's other Portland Metro skilled nursing centers. The Orchards in Lewiston, Ida., will be the first skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Idaho to join Prestige's network.
"Much of our continued growth can be attributed to our steadfast commitment to our core values and the dedication of our people," Delamarter said. "For us, there's no greater accomplishment than to provide the highest quality of care from a compassionate heart."
In recent months and years, many of the new Prestige centers received multi-million dollar renovations adding dedicated rehabilitation wings and recreational areas to several communities, which provide a significant benefit to residents and an important resource in delivering Prestige's philosophy of high quality, compassionate care.
Prestige has already begun introducing its skilled nursing care, including a comprehensive rehabilitation program and other lifestyle-centered services in each of the newly acquired communities, as part of the seamless transition to new management.
Prestige Care was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Wash. With this acquisition, it now operates more than 65 senior living communities and skilled nursing care centers throughout the Western United States.
