WHAT: The 2017 Mississippi Science Fest (MSF) press conference on August 23rd at 10 AM will formally announce the 30-day countdown to the first annual Mississippi Science Fest!
The Mississippi Science Fest will be held on September 23rd and aims to engage students, families, adults and educators in a fun and interactive environment providing science education, workforce development and a glimpse into Mississippi's future. Throughout the day of the festival, special exhibitors, events and programs that celebrate STEM will be showcased across the LeFleur Museum District- The Mississippi Children's Museum, The Mississippi Museum of Agriculture and Forestry, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. Visitors can purchase one $10 ticket that gains entry into all four museums. MSF, presented by C Spire, was organized by leaders from all four museums of the LeFleur Museum District and will showcase the Magnolia State's innovative science, technology, engineering and mathematics STEM industries and organizations.
