WHO: Former Deputy District Attorney Michael Gressett was maliciously investigated and prosecuted after being accused of raping a fellow assistant district attorney. His case has been widely publicized. All criminal charges against Mr. Gressett were recently dismissed. He was also ordered reinstated to his position after an arbitrator found the allegations against Mr. Gressett had no factual basis. He is filing a civil suit alleging the entire prosecution was politically motivated.
Former District Attorney Michael Gressett will be present at the press conference along with his attorneys J. Gary Gwilliam and Jayme L. Burns.
